The choice of electric fusion connection instead of ordinary hot melt is mainly based on the following considerations:

High connection reliability: The electric melting process is automatically controlled by the welding machine for voltage and time, with uniform melting depth, which can effectively avoid virtual welding or diameter shrinkage caused by human manual differences (such as rotation and insufficient insertion depth) during the hot melting operation.

Suitable for large diameters and narrow spaces: For pipelines with larger DN (such as 63mm or more), hot melt socket operation is cumbersome and difficult to ensure quality, while electric melt fittings are easier to operate; In areas with limited space or grooves, the connection of electric fusion welding machines is also more convenient.

Good sealing: After melting and bonding, the joint is integrated with the pipe without leakage risk, suitable for buried or critical pipelines.
