Recently, the Department of Economy and Information Technology of Zhejiang Province announced the list of future factories, intelligent factories, and digital workshops in Zhejiang Province for 2025. The high-performance plastic ball valve digital workshop of ERA Corporation was successfully selected based on its outstanding strength in the field of intelligent manufacturing.

From being selected as one of the first batch of "machine replacement" demonstration enterprises in Zhejiang Province, to continuously obtaining multiple heavyweight certifications such as Zhejiang Province Intelligent Factory, the first batch of Zhejiang Province Advanced Intelligent Factory, Jiangsu Province Advanced Intelligent Factory, Anhui Province Digital Workshop, etc., to successfully being awarded Zhejiang Province Digital Workshop this time, this is a high recognition of ERA's digital construction and intelligent manufacturing strength, and a powerful witness to ERA's deep cultivation in the plastic pipeline field and practice of high-quality development.

Entering the workshop, the intelligent robotic arm performs precise operations, the AGV warehouse pallet handling robot shuttles in an orderly manner, and the big screen data of each production line jumps in real time, jointly outlining an efficient and collaborative intelligent manufacturing panorama. Behind this is the deep integration and synchronous construction of the hardware and software systems by ERA.

At the hardware level, the workshop has built an intelligent and flexible production system that covers the entire process from injection molding machines, elevators, line edge warehouses, finished products, packaging and warehousing, and is compatible with the production of more than 1000 specifications of products. The workshop has over 200 high-precision injection molding machines, all equipped with mechanical arms or robots. It was the first to introduce six axis robots from Germany's KUKA and Japan's Fanuc. By integrating fully automatic ball valve embedding production equipment, intelligent ball valve assembly system, fully automatic vacuum centralized feeding system, AGV intelligent inbound and outbound and offline storage three-dimensional warehouse system, the workshop has achieved full automation from production to warehousing.

Machine substitution for human

The single machine production efficiency has increased by 25%, and the intelligent manufacturing capacity of ordinary ball valves has increased from 20 million to 30 million, achieving a fundamental change in production mode. At the same time, the workshop implements a QC testing process that is stricter than industry standards. Each product must undergo strict testing through a dual channel automatic pressure testing line, with a product consistency pass rate of over 99.7%, and has passed ISO9001 and NSF international authoritative certifications, leading the industry in quality control capabilities.

At the software level, the workshop has developed an injection molding MES system that covers research and development, production, supply chain, sales, and after-sales, building a unified information management platform. The system seamlessly integrates with core systems such as ERA ERP, WMS, energy management, wristband warning system, IOT platform, palletizing robot automation system, AGV scheduling system, and line edge warehouse (WMS), building decision-making capabilities based on real-time data flow and sharing, significantly improving work efficiency, reducing manual errors, and accelerating goods turnover time, achieving remote, centralized, and visualized intelligent operation and management of the workshop.
