Recently, the "Proposal of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China on Formulating the 15th Five Year Plan for National Economic and Social Development" (hereinafter referred to as the "Proposal") was released, outlining a grand blueprint for the development of the next five years.
As one of the top 500 manufacturing enterprises in China, ERA extends the pan building materials industry chain with plastic pipes as the core, focusing on the application of hidden engineering "water, electricity, gas, and wind" scenarios, which is highly in line with the policy orientation of the 15th Five Year Plan and has become a micro footnote to the implementation of policies.
01 Technology breaks through the impasse, supports the construction of the 'dual'
The "Proposal" clearly proposes to "promote the high-quality implementation of major national strategies and the construction of security capacity projects in key areas". Looking at the trends of the 13th and 14th Five Year Plans, the proportion of livelihood and infrastructure in the "dual" projects is significant, and this characteristic is expected to continue during the 15th Five Year Plan period.
With solid technical accumulation, ERA can provide reliable solutions for various "dual" projects.
Taking the Yangtze River Protection Jiujiang Phase II project as an example, facing the installation difficulties of dense pipelines and limited space, the ERA technical team was invited to conduct on-site inspections and innovatively proposed a customized solution - tailored PE wrapped structure wall pipes (B-type) short pipes of different lengths for the project, and according to the site conditions, the expansion ports were made into double socket or double plug forms, effectively solving the construction bottleneck. As of now, more than half of the new patents obtained by ERA in 2025 come from technology transformation and innovative applications in the "dual" project.
02 Deeply cultivate "good houses" and achieve worry free living
From the first inclusion of "good houses" in the government work report, to the further proposal in the "Suggestions" to implement the project of improving housing quality and establish a safety management system for the entire life cycle of houses, the construction requirements for "good houses" have been put forward. This means that real estate development will shift from simply building houses to creating high-quality living spaces, and the entire chain will improve housing standards, design, materials, construction, and operation levels.
With the commitment of "craftsmanship in construction and quality management", in 2024, we will be the first in the industry to launch the "Whole House · ERA Home" household water and electricity full chain and full scenario application solution, becoming a leader in providing "good materials" in the construction of "good houses". The service life of this solution can reach more than 50 years, which is basically synchronized with the service life of buildings and protects the safety of the entire life cycle of houses.
In 2025, the brand IP of "Good House" newly created by ERA will be showcased at authoritative domestic and international exhibitions such as the 2025 Zhejiang Province "Good House" Exhibition and the 2025 World Environment Expo Pipeline System Exhibition. With a systematic layout of "supply, drainage, heating, protection, and purification", the concept of "Good House" will be implemented from abstract standards to tangible daily experiences.
03 Independent innovation, activating the development of "new" forces
The Proposal proposes to comprehensively enhance independent innovation capabilities, accelerate high-level technological self-reliance and self-improvement, and lead the development of new quality productive forces. This is mainly because, in the face of international competition and industrial chain restructuring, only through original innovation and breakthroughs in key core technologies can we break free from traditional path dependence and inject new momentum into development.
ERA has always regarded independent innovation as the primary driving force for enterprise development, relying on innovation platforms such as national postdoctoral research stations, national enterprise technology centers, provincial key enterprise research institutes, and nationally recognized laboratories to build a collaborative and efficient innovation system, and to assist in breakthroughs in key core technologies. For example, the largest HDPE solid wall pipe production line in China, which was introduced and successfully trial produced by ERA, broke through foreign technological monopolies and filled industry gaps. By the end of 2025, the group has obtained over 850 national and international patents, and has led or participated in the formulation and revision of 139 national (industry) and international standards.
04 Green transformation, promoting development through environmental protection
The Proposal focuses on the four key tasks of "tackling pollution prevention and control, building a new energy system, achieving carbon peak, and promoting green production and lifestyle", accelerating the comprehensive green transformation of economic and social development, and building a beautiful China. The policy orientation clearly indicates that green development in the next five years is no longer about sacrificing the economy to protect the environment, but about promoting development through environmental protection. For enterprises, actively promoting "green transformation" has become an inevitable choice. The ERA has already begun active practice and formed profound cognition.
Pollution Prevention and Control Campaign
ERA actively participated in and supported projects such as zero direct sewage discharge, rainwater and sewage pipe network renovation, comprehensive river management, and rural environmental improvement in 75 counties and cities within the province. Starting from Zhejiang, the green footprint of ERA has spread to 34 provinces and cities across the country, guarding green mountains and rivers with practical actions.
Implementation of Carbon Peak Target
Through methods such as "photovoltaic building integration", "rainwater recovery system", and "underground to ground air supply green environmental protection system", the company has achieved energy conservation and carbon reduction in the factory area, and has been awarded titles such as "National Green Factory" and "Green Low Carbon Demonstration Unit".
Green Production and Life
Led or participated in the development of 36 national and industry standards, including the "Green Building Material Evaluation Plastic Pipe and Fitting", as well as 70 key green design technologies, all of which have been transformed into product production, achieving full coverage of product greenization. The proportion, sales, and output value coverage of green products have reached 100%. The product has passed authoritative certifications such as green building materials, green building selection products, environmentally friendly building materials logo products, and healthy building materials logo products.
05 Artificial Intelligence+, Improving Production Quality and Efficiency
The "Proposal" proposes: "Fully implement the 'Artificial Intelligence+' action, lead the paradigm change of scientific research with artificial intelligence, strengthen the combination of artificial intelligence with industrial development, cultural construction, livelihood security, and social governance, seize the high ground of artificial intelligence industry application, and empower thousands of industries in all aspects.
At present, ERA Digital Intelligence Factory has completed intelligent transformation and lean management, and applied new technologies such as artificial intelligence and industrial Internet to the whole process of R&D, production and management, realizing automatic, digital and transparent management of the whole manufacturing process.
This year, the factory has added advanced technologies such as "AI defect recognition" to achieve a defect recognition rate of ≥ 99.5%, ensuring the optimal balance between production and quality. The ERA Smart Factory has been awarded honors such as "Advanced Intelligent Factory in Zhejiang Province" and the first batch of "Zhejiang Province Machine Replacement Demonstration Enterprises".
06 Adhere to openness and cooperation and jointly build the the Belt and Road
Focusing on the "high-quality co construction of the the Belt and Road", the Proposal proposes: "comprehensively promote the construction of major landmark projects and small and beautiful livelihood projects. Deepen practical cooperation in trade, investment, industry, people to people and cultural activities, and expand new space for cooperation in green development, artificial intelligence, digital economy, health, tourism, agriculture and other fields".
From entering the international market in 2001 to registering ERA's trademark in over a hundred countries/regions, and then to the official launch of its fifth overseas manufacturing/operation base - Vietnam's ERA, ERA's global layout has taken more solid steps. From overseas landmarks such as the Presidential Palace of the Democratic Republic of the Congo and the Nebiro Expressway, to the efficient exposure on NASDAQ screens, the brand image of the company has been established through various projects. Since this year, the overall overseas market has grown by 17.6%, helping to jointly build the "the Belt and Road" with high quality.
