01 The Pain In The Old City Reshapes The Underground Official Website
Jianshui was approved as a national historical and cultural city in 1994. However, some water supply pipelines have been in use for a long time, and the old drainage pipelines are silted and damaged. With the acceleration of the pace of development, the old pipelines buried underground have become a hidden pain that restricts the development of Jianshui, and the original drainage system is gradually unable to meet the needs.
Jianshui needs to protect its precious cultural heritage and faces the urgent need for urban renewal. Balancing the protection of the ancient city and modernization has become a key proposition for Jianshui's urban renewal.
In order to improve this situation, the local government decided to upgrade the drainage systems of 12 towns. ERA pipelines use HDPE steel belt reinforced spiral corrugated pipes as core products, PVC-U drainage pipes and PPR water supply pipes as auxiliary products, creating an "invisible lifeline" for the local water supply and drainage system.

Traditional underground pipe networks are difficult to adapt to high humidity environments and variable soil pH, lack of ring stiffness, and are prone to deformation, rupture, and leakage, resulting in water waste and pollution.
Different from ordinary PE drainage pipes, ERA HDPE steel belt reinforced spiral corrugated pipes are spirally wound, and U-shaped steel belt composite PE materials are used inside, which greatly improves the ring stiffness and pressure strength of the pipe, and is resistant to pressure and impact.
As a branch pipe, the ERA PVC-U drainage pipe starts from the residential building, solving the problem of easy rust and leakage of traditional metal pipes. The socket connection does not require welding, and the installation efficiency is increased by 3 times.
This design of coordinated operation of the main and branch pipes and graded drainage not only solves the defects of traditional pipes, but also reflects the technical concept of ERA's precise policy implementation, which helps the development of local tourism in Jianshui.
After intensive construction, ERA HDPE steel belt reinforced spiral corrugated pipes and other products were gradually laid underground in 12 towns. The new sewage treatment plants in each town and the renovation of the main street with a total length of 80 kilometers of pipelines are like underground arteries, injecting new vitality into the drainage system of Jianshui towns.
Since its official operation, the streets and alleys that used to be flooded every time it rained have greatly increased the operating efficiency of the drainage network, effectively eliminating the phenomenon of sewage retention and backflow, significantly optimizing the quality of the living environment, and creating a more comfortable and livable living space for residents.

In recent years, the state has vigorously supported urban renewal projects. According to the results of the Ministry of Finance's 2025 urban renewal action review, the central government will implement urban renewal actions in 20 cities to support the construction of model projects and mechanism construction for urban renewal.
