CPVC cutting operation
The CPVC pipes are connected using a bonding method, and part of the work is carried out in the workshop before the construction of the house.
The order of pipe work is to first mark the insertion length on the surface of the product, and then use electric cutting machines and other tools to cut and polish.
Then use a dry towel to dry the debris and moisture inside and outside.
After determining the insertion length, apply adhesive in the order of the inside of the connection and the outside of the pipe.
When applying, apply adhesive evenly on the inside and outside of the product until the surface of the product is no longer visible.
Next comes the final joining work. When inserting the pipe, push it inward while turning it (about half a turn) until it reaches the end of the connecting part.
The connection should be maintained for about 3 seconds to prevent it from being popped out. After bonding, remove the excess adhesive generated at the bonding site, and the bonding operation is completed.
CPVC cutting operation
Before construction of house pipelines, hangers must be installed to support the pipes. Since CPVC pipes are more flexible than traditional metal pipes, hanger installation specifications must be followed during construction to prevent the pipes from sagging.
When installing the pipes in the casing section, care should be taken to prevent damage to the decoration materials due to condensation.
The working conditions for CPVC bonding on house ceilings are not as good as those in workshops. Therefore, attention should be paid to applying the adhesive as evenly as possible.
After the pipe installation is completed, check the state of the adhesive at the joint, that is, the state of the joint. Before testing the water pressure, you can visually confirm the joint state.
CPVC cutting operation
After the house pipes are installed, check the water pressure according to the post-joint hardening time.
According to the recommendations of the CPVC manufacturer, the water pressure inspection must take into account the normal pressure of the CPVC pipe of 12 kPa and the on-site operating pressure. It is recommended that the maintenance time be more than 24 hours.
After that, the pipe insulation work is carried out, and then the construction of the house sprinkler pipe is completed.
